Remembering Together Na h-Eileanan Siar is coming to a close

The memorial project in the Western Isles comprises an album of original music and a collection of steel fire sculptures, designed by Robbie Thomson and sited with community partners.

The album “Next to You”, featured on BBC Radio Scotland, was created by Josie Duncan, Alasdair Caplin, Scott C Park and Willie Campbell and was performed live on a tour of venues in Lewis, Benbecula and Barra.

The whole project was supported by a series of community workshops at Macaulay College and An Lanntair in Stornoway, and a host of community group and organisations in Benbecula, Lewis South Uist and Barra.
