Music and storytelling ceilidhs, December ‘23

Lend your experiences to an album of music and stories commissioned as part of the forthcoming Western Isles Covid Memorial. Musician Alastair Caplin will lead a session where we share songs, stories, music and memories of our experiences, both positive and negative, from the pandemic.





Bring your voice or an instrument if you play one – the ceilidh is open to musicians and non-musicians alike and there is no pressure to perform if you would rather listen and watch. As well as a sharing, there will be a chance to collaborate on pieces together, with the aim of these being included in album recorded as part of the Remembering Together project.
