Remembering Together Inverclyde is coming to a close

Five stunning Labyrinths have been co-designed and sited across Inverclyde at Wemyss Bay Community Centre, Gourock Park, Well Park, Greenock, Coronation Park, Port Glasgow and Birkmyre Park, Kilmacolm to represent Inverclyde’s Co-Created Community Covid Memorial.

RIG Arts, artist Alan Potter and Walk as One, a group of volunteers from across Inverclyde, worked together on this final response to the community co-creation that took place in 2022- 2023.

Each Labyrinth is site specific, unique and connected in providing spaces for reflection.

Their names represent feelings, virtues and aspirations in response to the pandemic:

-Wemyss Bay Labyrinth of Courage

-Gourock Labyrinth of Joy

-Greenock Labyrinth of Love

-Port Glasgow Labyrinth of Hope

-Kilmacolm Labyrinth of Peace
