Welcome to East Dunbartonshire

East Dunbartonshire lies to the north of Glasgow, with an outstanding natural environment bounded by the Campsie Fells and the Kilpatrick Hills.

 A flourishing area with a population of around 108,500, it comprises the suburban and rural towns and villages of Bearsden, Bishopbriggs, Kirkintilloch, Lennoxtown, Lenzie, Milngavie, Milton of Campsie, Torrance and Twechar. Each town and village has its own distinct heritage, a range of cultural and sporting venues, community hubs and attractions.

 While East Dunbartonshire has a wonderfully rich natural and built environment, perhaps its real wealth lies in the amazing community spirit shown by its people through its many local organisations, groups, campaigns, causes and champions.
